I've been getting a lot of messages and questions about how to get off to a good start in OG.  And, I love it... Keep them coming!  I am in no way, shape, or form bothered by this.

My best advice to anyone who is serious about building any successful home based, mlm, network marketing, affiliate business is to learn how to market.  This is the most sound, and let me emphasize the most important advice that I can give.

Second, it's extremely important to learn the skills and techniques to become a better marketer and what's next is to master the process of great leadership.

Those of you who know me, know that for the last year I haven't been doing as much promoting and marketing because I've been so focused on becoming a better leader. My marketing has been on autopilot and most of my efforts have been focused on sharpening my marketing and leadership skills.

Here's why...

It's proven that 3% success rate in this industry, which is not much. Another interesting fact is that most network marketers only recruit 2 people during their entire time in business.

Don't Panic....LOL

That's an easy fix if you master the second step that I'm sharing with you (LEADERSHIP).  Now, if you recruit 2, can teach those 2 to each recruit 2, and in the process teach those 2 to teach their 2 to get 2, and so on... Your organization will still grow over time!
Keep in mind that's why you may have heard me say I'm extremely selective in whom I work with.  You need people that are coachable, teachable, and able to duplicate your effort or you may have to start the process over a few times before you get thing rolling.

In the meantime, there's still something that you can do.  DON'T NOT DO ANYTHING.  You can start with drop card marketing, go to the back office and grab the letterhead that's designed to send to your warm market and MAIL THEM or DROP THEM OFF.  JUST DO IT!  You can also check your local area to see if there are any events coming up or flea markets in the area.  This may not lead to large amounts of sales, but make sure you have plenty brochures and cards to get the word out.
It's all about numbers!  The more eyes that you get your products and opportunity in front of the more successful you'll be.

Now, this works well for me in one of my other businesses but hasn't worked so well with OG because everyone in my local area has pretty much been exposed to the OG opportunity or the products.  However, it works extremely well with one of my other businesses.  Basically what I do is I wear my colors.  What this means is I've made my company apparel my wardrobe and you can do this too.  Go grab a few OG shirts or caps or something that stands out that you can put on your body and wear them.  You'll be amazed at the amount of people approach you if you're in an area that's not so familiar with OG.

As for me, I'm not really that found of the traditional marketing. I'm more of a what I call global marketer.  I don't like to be constrained to my local market and I love to network with people from all walks of life from all over the world so most of my marketing is done online.

Oh, and last but definitely not least.  STOP what you are doing right now, STOP procrastinating, STOP making excuses, and make the decision to TAKE MASSIVE ACTION.  Don't let the fear of saying the wrong thing or doing something wrong STOP you from doing anything at all. JUST DO IT. There's only room to gain, nothing to lose, and those who aren't feeling you or what you have to offer are not the people you want to do business with anyway.
